Mobile phone battery power measurement

There are three technologies to measure the remaining power of mobile phone battery.
Voltage test method
This method is relatively simple. It is obtained by simply monitoring the voltage of the battery. However, the battery power and voltage are not linear, so this test method is not accurate. Especially when the power of the mobile phone is less than 50%, this method is very inaccurate.
Battery modeling method
This method is to establish a data table according to the discharge curve of the battery. The data table will indicate the electric quantity under different voltages. This method can effectively improve the measurement accuracy. However, it is not easy to obtain an accurate data table, because the relationship between voltage and electric quantity also involves the temperature, self-discharge, aging and other factors of the battery. Only by combining many factors to correct can we get a satisfactory electricity measurement.
Coulometer
A current detection resistor is connected in series at the positive and negative poles of the battery. When there is current flowing through the resistor, the coulometer will generate induction. The current flowing through the battery can be calculated by detecting the induction. Therefore, it can accurately track the change of battery power, with an accuracy of 1%. It is the most accurate battery power detection method.
Common sense of maintenance
1. The charging time of the battery need not be too long, and it can be removed when it is fully charged.
2. It is best to use only the original charger from the manufacturer when purchasing the machine.
3. The contact of the battery shall not contact with metal or parts with greasy dirt. Pay attention to moisture prevention.
4. Do not immerse the battery in water or throw it into fire.
5. The battery should not be placed near low or high temperature objects, such as refrigerators and stoves.
6. Please use special facilities when handling batteries.
7. If you need to replace the battery, please use only the same type of battery.
